MSPO Audit Witnessed by Standards Malaysia in Lahad Datu

In a witness assessment, assessors from the Department of Standards Malaysia observe a certification body at work during a real client audit. They watch how the audit team plans the day, samples records, walks the estate and reaches its findings, and they use what they see to judge whether the body is competent to hold its accreditation.

The audit covered the estate office records as well as the field: estate roads and drains, worker housing, and the first aid and safety station.
